BURNING LINKING BOOK IN MYST 3 SERIES
There are strict rules to follow when writing a Linking Book, and you'll see in the MYST series what happens when people abuse the power they believe that they own Many people think they are creating the ages they write, but they are actually writing a link to another dimension to a place that already exists, has existed, or will exist. When someone touches it, they are immediately linked to that spot. On the first page you'll find a glowing image of the place that was described in the book. The story is about a culture called the D'ni (pronounced Dunny) that live in a massive cavern deep below the surface of the Earth that have found a way to write in books and create a link to the place where they have written in the books. Soon after a company called Presto Studios would get the rights to make the third installment of the MYST series called EXILE. Cyan made a third novel about the events after RIVEN (The Book of D'ni). It would become one of the best selling games of all time as well. In 1997 Cyan made the sequal to MYST, RIVEN. They would write another book about the events preceding the events of the first novel (The Book of Ti'ana. In the following years the creators of the MYST series at CYAN would write a novel about the events preceding the game (The Book of Atrus). It started with MYST in 1993 and went on to sell more than any computer game has ever sold. The MYST series is the best selling computer game of all time.
